To shorten a loop curtain, start by measuring the desired length and marking it with a fabric pencil or pins. Then, remove the curtain from the rod and lay it flat on a work surface. Next, fold the bottom of the curtain up to the marked length and pin it in place. Finally, sew a new hem along the folded edge and trim any excess fabric. Once the new hem is sewn, rehang the curtain on the rod and adjust the loops to the desired length. **
