Kisame Hoshigaki was not a traitor in the traditional sense. He was a loyal member of the Akatsuki organization and remained committed to its goals until the end. However, he did betray his partner Itachi Uchiha by attempting to capture him on orders from the Akatsuki leader, which ultimately led to his own demise. So, while Kisame was not a traitor to the Akatsuki as a whole, he did betray Itachi in the end. **

Itachi is generally considered to be stronger than Kisame. Itachi was a highly skilled and powerful ninja, known for his mastery of the Sharingan and his ability to use powerful genjutsu techniques. He was also a member of the Uchiha clan, known for their exceptional abilities. Kisame, while also a formidable opponent with immense physical strength and the ability to wield the Samehada, was ultimately defeated by Itachi in their battle. Overall, Itachi's superior skills and abilities make him the stronger of the two. **

Kisame dies in episode 251 of Naruto Shippuuden, titled "The Man Named Kisame." In this episode, Kisame sacrifices himself by summoning sharks to devour him in order to protect valuable information about the Akatsuki from falling into the hands of his enemies. Kisame said that Itachi would defeat him in Episode 81 of Naruto, titled "Return of the Morning Mist." In this episode, Kisame and Itachi are shown working together as members of the criminal organization Akatsuki. This moment highlights the respect and admiration that Kisame holds for Itachi's strength and skill as a shinobi. **

The fight between Samehada and Kisame occurred because Samehada, a sentient sword, was initially wielded by Kisame. However, Samehada became dissatisfied with Kisame's lack of emotional connection and desire for power, leading it to seek out a new wielder in Killer Bee. This betrayal by Samehada caused a conflict between the sword and Kisame, ultimately resulting in a battle between the two. **
